About Me

Hey web people! It's your's truly, Lindsey.  Wow, my first post-- and its to tell you about me! Well most recently I moved to Tampa, in the sunshine state of Florida after graduating from Florida State University (GO NOLES!).  I double majored in Geography and International Affairs, with a concentration in Spanish.  Why this combination of sorts? Well, I Love to travel, its a plague. I know that I will never stop learning and am very interested in people and places and how geography affects interactions. There are endless things to learn within geography- whether it be the cultural, economic, human, or  physical and environmental aspects of it. This, entwined with international affairs allows me to approach business with a cosmopolitan mind-frame. This is also where Spanish comes in.  I am striving to be completely bi-lingual and wish to focus on the Hispanic sector of the market.  I have over 5 years of Spanish language learning, one of which includes cultural immersion in my year-long study abroad program at FSU in the Republic of Panama.
Along with loving  geography, I'm a true shutterbug! My dad ignited my interest when i was in middle school; he would always carry around his ancient Cannon SLR film camera on vacations. He showed me how to work with the exposure and different lenses he had. I adopted that  camera and clicked my way through high school. Two years of Photography class and dark room work opened a whole new realm of possibilities. I was learning techniques and formulating my own. Then, graduation money set me on the path to digital, and I not once turned back.  With my new digital camera I was able to incorporate dark room methods in a whole new light. Photography is my way of journaling, I tell stories through my photographs.
So there's a dibble-dabble about my interests and a little bit about me. I look forward to posting again! check back for what's  hot in media, get the scoop from my perspective.
